What to expect at FACT Liverpool
FACT Liverpool combines gallery spaces and a cinema under one roof, with a programme focused on art, film and creative technology. Its three galleries and four cinema screens make it a place to pair an exhibition visit with a film, or to stop in for one part of the programme.
The centre is at 88 Wood Street, just off Bold Street in Liverpool city centre. Entry to the building and exhibitions is free, and you do not need to book ahead for free building entry. Some events may have a charge, and donations are welcome.
FACT says its exhibitions change regularly, so the specific works on view depend on the programme. If you want to get a sense of the building before arriving, its visual story can help you anticipate the layout; the exhibition shown in that guide may not be current.

Exhibitions, cinema and events
FACT’s galleries and cinema offer different ways to spend time at the centre: check the gallery opening pattern for exhibitions, and look up individual screening times if you plan to see a film.
The galleries are open Wednesday to Sunday from 11:00 to 18:00 and closed on Monday and Tuesday. Picturehouse Cinema is listed as open daily from 12:00 to 22:00, but those are venue hours rather than film screening times. Check the Picturehouse schedule for a screening that fits your plans.
Film tickets have different prices for adults, members, older visitors and students, and children. Prices also vary by screening type, including matinees and the Happy Mondays offer. As prices and programme details can change, check the official site before you go.
For a wider day out, you can pair FACT with a walk through the city centre. The guide to one day in Liverpool offers a route to consider alongside a visit here.
